RESOLII'i'ION IN RECOGNITION OF THANGA SANMUGAM
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
HLTTF. COt1NTY Pt1HLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Thanga Sanmugam announced her retirement as of December 31, 2004;
and
WHEREAS, 'hhanga Sanmugam was graduated from the University of London in her
home country of Sri Lanka; and
WHEREAS, Thanga Sannuigam began her service to Butte County as a Principal Clerk
at Alcohol and Drug Services in ] 991 and 1992; and
WHEREAS, Thanga Sanmt~lgam returned from volunteer work in Zambia, Africa in
1997 to Butte County Behavioral Health where she assisted in evaluations until 2002; and
WHEREAS. Thanga Sannuigam then transferred to Butte County Public Health where
she worked in Administrative Support for Public Health Nursing until retie°ement.
NOVV, THEREhORF,, BE IT RESOLVEll that the Board of Supervisors wishes to
express to Thanga Sanmugam sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and service
to Butte County, and further, wishes her well on her retirement.
PASSED ANll ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14th day of
December 2004 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Hoax, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
