RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF ANNE E. BELSER
UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT' OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, Anne Belser, Supervisor Clerical Support Services for the Department of Public
Works, announced her retirement as of December I7, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Anne Belser began her career with the County of Butte in 1989 as a Typist Clerk III
in the Department of Public Works, advancing within the Department to become a Supervisor Clerical
Support Services, her present position; and
WHEREAS, Anne Belser worked as a Typist Clerk III, Steno Clerk, Senior Steno Clerk,
Secretary I, Secretary II, and a Supervisor Clerical Support Services in the Public Works Department for
many years; and
WHEREAS, Anne Belser has earned the respect of fellow employees, engineers, surveyors,
contractors, and others involved in Public Works activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the
residents of the County of Butte for fifteen years with distinction and leadership;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of
the residents of the County of Butte, wishes to express to Anne Belser sincere appreciation for her many
years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and
further wishes her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPT ED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 14"' day of December 2004 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
