ser~~ice to the Butte Coimt~~ Sheriff s Office.
Whereas, /,L7)N'.57,At;H'1'began his la~~~ eulorcement career with the Butte Coiu~ty Sherifhs Office
as an Extra-Help Records and Identification Technician and Stock Clerk in November of (989 after refiring
1'rou~ 2 ! v~ears of service as a Police Officer with the Baltimore Police Department. In December of 1990 he
was hired as a lull time Records and ldentitieation Tech-~ician. LL't)N.5'hA(;H'/'tivas subsequently
reclassified as an Evidence Praccssor. Dt-ring his tonure. L/iOtV ShAGH%'has been responsible ('or
organising and updating the evidence facility, He has screed as a member of the Officer-[nvol~-ed Shooting
Protocol Team, and has provided in-service instruction on evidence collection to a number of Butte Count~~
employees and volunteers. hEt)N S'LAGH"1"has also distinguished himself in the field of forensic
fingerprinting. His abilite to quickly and accurately identif~~ unknow» persons has been an asset to the
inti~estigation of crimes and the resolution of missing person cases in this county.
Whereas, after ser~~ing the citizens of Butte Count~~ for 1 ~ wars. LF.I)N.57,AGHT is retiring on
December 29. 200.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supcrti~isors on its own behalL and on
behal f of the residents of the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and deti~otion given b~~
