RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION
OF
Resolution No. 05-006
Peter Vincent Teresi
Whereas, this Board expresses its appreciation to Peter L' Teresi for his 1 G years of dedicated
service to the Butte Counri• Sheriff's Office.
Whereas, Peter L' "l'ere.ti~i began his law enforcement career at the age of G5, after retiring from a 30
rear career with Pan-American Airlines.
Whereas, Peter ['. 1 eresi became a Reserve Deputy- Sheriff with the Butte Count- Sheriff's Office
in June of 1988. [n Juh~ of 1988 he was hired as an Extra-help Correctional Officer. (Y)KRI;Y'71ONA1,
l)1%F7C'F.R T eresi has ~~orked successfully in man~• different assignments in his career, including Road Crew
Officer. Ulilil~ Officer. Transport Officer. Medical Officer, Visiting Officer and as the Work Alteniativc
Officer.
Whereas, after serving the citizens of Butte County for 1G years. Peter Y' 7~rest is retiring on
December 30. 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED b_v the Board of Supervisors on its own behalf. and on
behalf of the residents of the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion given b~
