Resolution to establish a new Trust Fund for Butte County
Department of Child Support Services, for the Conversion to
the new Child Support Automation System, CASES.
WHEREAS, Government Code 29410 allows the Board of Supervisors to
establish a trust fund; and
WHEREAS, it is now determined that a new trust fund be established
that functions the same as our current Trust Fund 1150, which is
where all Child Support collections are deposited, Child Support
payments are dispersed, and aid related payments are transferred
from to the appropriate funds, and;
WHEREAS, it is also determined that the establishment of such a
fund is necessary with our conversion to a new Child Support
Automation System, CASES, to track activity separately from the
prior automation system, KIDZ.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That a new Trust Fund be established pursuant to
Government Code 29410.
2. That the fund be used in the same manner as our
current fund 1150, to separately track activity during
the conversion to the new Child Support Automation
system, CASES.

of Butte, State of California, on the 25th day of January, 2005 by
the following votes:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi
NOES : None
ABSENT :None
NOT VOTING : None
