HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-022RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 04-271 TO CORRECT AN OMISSION IN SECTION 13.01-1, ENTITLED "REQUIREMENT CLASS 1", OF THE BUTTE COUNTY IMPROVEMENT STANDARDS DATED JUNE 2002 WHEREAS, subsequent to adoption of Resolution 04-271, it was discovered that existing paragraph two of Section 13.01-1, which was not amended, was inadvertently omitted two; and This resolution includes paragraph WHEREAS, Article XXIII, Sections 3-266 through 3-284 of the Butte County Code will impose Development Impact Fees for Fire Department Facilities, Vehicles and Equipment in the unincorporated area of Butte County. Water tender fees are included in these development impact fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following section 13.01-1 of the Butte County Improvement Standards dated June 2002 is now amended to read as follows: "13.01-1 Requirement Class 1 Except for those areas designated as "high and very high" hazards on the hazard severity index map, a pressurized water supply for fire protection will not be required. The developer will install an automatic fire sprinkler system in all new residential structures in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association standard for the installation of sprinkler systems in one and two family dwellings and mobile homes, NFPA Standard 13D. Subdivisions in those areas designated as "high and very high" hazards on the fire hazard severity index where the lot size is less than 10 acres will require a pressurized community water system." Page 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution will go into effect at the same time as Article XXIII, Chapter 3, Sections 3-266 through 3-284 of the Butte County Code entitled "Development Impact Fees for Fire Facilities, Vehicles, and Equipment in the Unincorporated Area of Butte County" goes into effect.
