A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND CONTRACT
EXECUTION FOR FUNDING FROM THE GENERAL/NATIVE AMERICAN
ALLOCATION OF THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS GRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1: The Butte County Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an
application for up to $1.5 million for the following activities:

Chico Veterans Hall Americmzs with Disabilities Act (ADA) Improvements: $226,800
10°Io set-uside for Southside Oroville Sidewalk hzstcallation: $24,840
10% set-aside for Butte County Library's Books by Mail Program $21,600
General Administration: $37,500
2006-2007
Butte County Housing Rehabilitation: $297,500
Paradise Veterans Hall ADA Inaprovenaents: $91, 800
Gridley Veterans Hall ADA Improvements: $102,600
10% set-aside for Southside Oroville Code E~zforcerraent: $24,840
10°Io set-aside for Butte County Library's Books by Mail Program $21,600
General Adnainistratio~i: $36,892
2007-2008
Oroville Veterans Hall ADA Improvements: $267,840
10% set-aside for Southside Oroville Code Enforcement: $25,920

SECTION 2: If the grant application is approved, the County of Butte will provide the following
local leverage:

SECTION 3: The County Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the
County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 4: If the application is approved, the County Administrative Officer is authorized to
enter into and sign the grant agreement and any amendments thereto with the State of California
for the purposes of this grant.
