HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-072~ g yew'" @ r ~~': ~~ ~~ ?~, BC~~RD U>~ SU PERV [SORB ;~ ~v ' * .COUNTY OF .BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA .•`~i . n.~..~~e_~ ReSOlufton No. 05-072 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS BETWEEN FHWA AND BUTTE COUNTY AND BETWEEN SBC AND BUTTE COUNTY TO HAVE SBC FACILITIES INSTALLED IN THE ROAD SECTION DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF OROVILLE QUINCY HIGHWAY (CA PFH 119-2(4)) WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project agreement with the Federal Highway Administration to participate in the California PFH 119- 2(4) Oroville Quincy Highway Project; and WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of way and coordinate utility relocation. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of California, in order to complete the delivery of the right of way certification to FHWA, authorizes the Director of Public Works to sign the Reimbursable Agreement (DTFH 68-OS-X-000) proposed by FHWA and to negotiate and sign a corresponding agreement with SBC, that will allow for the installation of new utility facilities during the construction of the Oroville Quincy Highway Project. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of California, this 24`~ day of May 2005, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi NOES: None ABSENT: None _ - NOT VOTING: None ~ ~ KIM K.
