RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT
FOR COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9
OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the California Constitution provides that local
governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article; and
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that the
governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit
for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County appropriations limit
for fiscal year 200.5-2006 to be $115,075,482.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limit for Butte
County is established to be $115,075,482 for fiscal year 2005-2006; and
FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are in
compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 2°`' day of
August 2005 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi
