RESOLUTION ALLOWING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
ACQUIRE, ABANDON OR DISPOSE OF REAL PROPERTY USED FOR STREET
PURPOSES WITHOUT PRIOR PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has approved a general plan; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors wishes to allow the acquisition and
disposal of real property for street purposes to proceed without delay.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, State of California, in order to comply with California Government Code Section 65402,
authorises the Department of Public Works to acquire, abandon or dispose of real property
required or used for street purposes, including widening and re-alignment projects, provided such
projects are of a minor nature and have been previously approved by the Board of Supervisors,
without review by the planning commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of
California, this 2"`~ day of August 2005, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi
NOES: None
ABSENT: None ~
NOT VOTING: None
