A RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO CDBG GRANT NO: 04-PTAA-0303
TO INCLUDE THE ALLOCATION OF CDBG PROGRAM INCOME
FOR PREVIOUSLY APPROVED ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, the County of Butte receives program income from various State of
California Community Development Block Grants; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte received notification of approval of CDBG grant #02-
EDBG-874 in December 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to CDBG
grant #02-EDBG-874 on March 11, 2003 to include an activity to complete various tasks
associated with the Southside Oroville Community Center;
WHERAS, CDBG grant #02-EDBG-874 is due to expire on August 5, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the County will be unable to complete the Southside Oroville Community
Center Items prior to August 5, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte received notification of approval of CDBG grant #04-
PTAA-0303 on April 1, 2005; and
WHEREAS, CDBG grant #04-PTAA-0303 will expire March 31, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte's CDBG representative has indicated their approval of
the transfer of activity funds from grant #02-EDBG-874 to grant #04-PTAA-0303 in order to
allow for adequate time to complete items associated with the Southside Oroville Community
Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
does hereby approve the amendment of CDBG grant #04-PTAA-0303 as follows:

The Board of Supervisors hereby approves a transfer of up to $158,008 in CDBG
Program Income from CDBG grant #02-EDBG-874 to CDBG grant #04-PTAA-0303 for
previously approved activities associated with Southside Oroville Community Center.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 2°~ day of
August 2005 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi
NOES: None
ABSENT: None - ~
NOT VOTING: None 4' -
