RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3911 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-0(11 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by adding thereto the
following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Investigator II, I
thereby increasing the total from 79 to 80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 20 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-002 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CHILD SUPPORT INVESTIGATIONS"
by changing the title to "320-006 DISTRICT ATTORNEY - IHSS FRAUD" and adding
thereto the following:

1 Investigator II, I
thereby increasing the total from 0 to 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 22 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-005 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -WELFARE FRAUD" by deleting therefrom
the following:

entitled "360-007 SHERIFF-CORONER -RURAL COUNTY SUPPLEMENTAL
FUNDING" by adding thereto the following:

1 Crime Prevention Officer (position to end 06-30-06)
5 Deputy Sheriff (position to end 06-30-06)
thereby increasing the total from 1 to 7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 45 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "540-001 PUBLIC HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" by adding thereto the
following:

1 Fiscal Manager
thereby increasing the total from 147.75 to 148.75.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 51 of Ordinance No. 3911. of the County of Butte
entitled "570-001 EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES -ADMINISTRATION"
by deleting therefrom the following:

1 Information Systems Analyst, Senior or Information Systems
Analyst or Information Systems Analyst, Associate
1 Office Specialist or Office Assistant
5 Office Specialist, Senior or Office Specialist or Office Assistant
and adding thereto the following:

thereby decreasing the total from 176 to 170.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 51 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte

entitled "570-003 EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES -ELIGIBILITY" by
deleting therefrom the following:

thereby decreasing the total from 212 to 201.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 51 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County ofButte
entitled "570-006 EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES - CaIWORKs" by
deleting therefrom the following:

thereby decreasing the total from 73 to 69.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 57 of Ordinance No. 391 1 of the County of Butte
entitled "629 LIBRARY -LITERACY GRANT" by deleting therefrom the following:

.5 Library Assistant
.75 Library Assistant (position to end 06-30-06)
and adding thereto the following:

.5 Library Assistant, Senior or Library Assistant

thereby increasing the total from 3 to 3.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 57 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "629 LIBRARY -LITERACY GRANT" by deleting therefrom the following:

3 Library Assistant (position to end 09-30-OS)
and adding thereto the following:

thereby leaving the total unchanged at 28.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE J,
CLASSIFICATIONS WITH FLAT RATE ASSIGNMENTS" by deleting therefrom the
following:

$7.25 - $1 1.24/HR 1150 Seasonal Election Worker
and adding thereto the following:

$8.36 - $12.59/HR 1 150 Seasonal Election Worker
