Resolution No . 05-113 RESOLUTION SETTING THE AMOUNT OF THE PROCESSING FEE CHARGED FOR THE COLLECTION, HANDLING, AND ACCOUNTING OF MONIES COLLECTED UNDER THE SIX COUNTY DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES WHEREAS, Butte County has adopted six development impact fees: 1. Library Facilities and Equipment 2. General Government Facilities 3. General Government Vehicles and Equipment 4. Sheriff Facilities, Vehicles and Equipment 5. Road Improvements 6. Fire Facilities, Vehicles, and Equipment; and WHEREAS, the collection, handling and accounting of the monies collected under the six development impact fees requires detailed accounting and is time consuming; and WHEREAS, the Development Services Department has determined that it costs $73.32 per application to collect, handle and account for the six. development impact fees; and WHEREAS, the Auditor has determined that it costs $74.95 per application to handle and account for the six development impact fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors adopts a processing fee of $100.00 (one hundred dollars) per application for which any of the six development impact fees is collected; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amount of the processing fee is to be divided equally between the Development Services Department and the Auditor.
