RESOLUTION CHANGING THE CONTRACTS/PURCHASING
POLICY AND PROCEDURE MANUAL
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors elected to become subject to the California Uniform
Public Construction Cost Accounting Act; and
WHEREAS, the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accountinb Act contains
requirements that are to be followed for public projects that meet or exceed certain dollar thresholds;
and
WHEREAS, the County's Contracts/Purchasing Policy and Procedure Manual includes the
instructions pertaining to the requirements that are to be met based on the dollar thresholds included
in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act; and
WHEREAS, the California State Controller increased the dollar thresholds contained in the
California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accountinb Act; and
WHEREAS, the County's Contracts/Purchasing Policy and Procedure Manual was chanbed
to incorporate the increased dollar thresholds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors adopts this
resolution approving the change to the County's Contracts/Purchasing Policy and Procedure Manual.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 30`x' day of
August 2005 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi
NOES: None
