RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION Resolution No. 05-151
OF
SHARON S. PEVY
Whereas, this Board expresses its appreciation to .Sharon S. Pevy for her 30 years of dedicated service
to Butte County.
Whereas, Sharrn~ S. Pevy began her career with Butte County as a Clerk I1/Receptionist in the Welfare
Department in 1971. Sharon S. Pevy worked for Public Health as a Typist Clerk and a Community Health Aide.
In February of 1984 she was hired as a full time Typist Clerk in the Sheriff s Office. In January of 1985 she
was promoted to a Community Service Officer and in May of 1985 she was again promoted to Correctional
Officer. C~)Rh'1:(TIONAI, (~I~Y~Y( "IR Pl;'V"Y has been assigned to the Incarceration Division for the past 20
years where she has worked as a Traininb Officer, Sheriffs Work Alternative Program Officer and for the past 8
years has been assigned as an Officer in Charge when needed.
Whereas, after serving the citizens of Butte County for 30 years, Sharon S. Pc vy retired on November
8, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors on its own behalf, and on
behalf of the residents of the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion f;iven by
