WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance
with the proclamation thereof by the Director of Emergency Services on December 31, 2005, and
it's ratification by the Board of Supervisors on January 6, 2006, as a result of conditions caused
by torrential rain, wind and floodzng; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed
to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities
within the County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, on this 6`~ day of January 2006 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Yamaguchi
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
