RESOLUTION AivIENDING ORDINANCE N0.3911 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Sutte hereby amends Section 19 ofOrdinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by adding thereto the
following:
Positions Classification Title
1 District Attorney Victim Counselor {position to end 06-30-07}
1 Investigator II, I (position to end 06-30-06)
thereby increasing the total from 76 to 78.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 32 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "430-001 PROBATION" by adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Probation Off cer III, II, I (position to end 12-31-06}
thereby increasing the total from 95 to 96.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 3 5 of Ordinance No. 3 911 of the County of Butte
entitled "440-001 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES" by adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Planner, Principal
1 Planner, Senior
thereby increasing the total from 43 to 45.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 39 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte

entitled "470-001 COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classif cation Title
2 Deputy County Clerk-Recorder III, II or Deputy County Clerk I
thereby decreasing the total from 19 to 17.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 45 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "540-001 PUBLIC HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" by deleting therefrom
the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Public Health Education Specialist, Senior or
Public Health Education Specialist or
Public Health Education Specialist, Associate
thereby decreasing the total from 153.5 to 152.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 60 of Ordinance No. 3 911 of the County of Butte
entitled "704 INFORMATION SYSTEMS" by adding thereto the following:

2 Information Systems Analyst, Principal or Information Systems
Analyst, Senior or Information Systems Analyst or Information

thereby increasing the total from 17 to 21.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 69 of Ordinance No. 3911 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS,
REFERENCE A, APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEAD5" by deleting therefrom the
following:

$106,930 195
and adding thereto the following:
Annual Salary Class Code
$97,233 195
