A RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
APPROVING THE CONTROLLED ACCESS HIGHWAY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, 03-BUTTE-32, KP 17.9118.1(PM 11.12111.25} and KP 20.2/24.2 (PM
12.55115.04 IN BUTTE COUNTY OUTSIDE CITY OF CHICO LIMITS ABOUT 1.0 MILES
EAST OF STATE ROUTE 99 AND HUMBOLDT ROAD NEAR HOG SPRINGS
V~"`~EREAS, on March 7, 1972, the County of Butte entered into a Freeway Agreement with
the State of California (Caltrans} for that section of State Route 32 between State Route 99 and Hog
Springs/Humboldt Road (post mile 10.5 to 15.1); and
WHEREAS, the proposed reclassification of this section of State Route 32 from future
freeway to controlled access highway is consistent with the transportation element of the County
General Plan; and
WHEREAS, on February 12, 2002, the Butte County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution
No. 02-025 supporting the reclassification of State Route 32 from State Route 99 to Hog
Springs/Humboldt Road from its current freeway designation to a controlled access highway.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
State of California, as follows:
1) That after review and approval by County Counsel, the Chair of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute the Controlled Access Highway Agreement Between
the County of Butte and the State of California Department of Transportation, 03-Butte-32, KP
17.9/18.1(PM 11.12111.25) and KP 20.2124.2 (PM 12.55115.04) in Butte County outside City of Chico
Limits about 1.0 miles East of State Route 99 and Humboldt Road near Hog Springs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of California,
this 24`h day of January 200b, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Xamaguchi and Chazr Josiassen
NOES: None
ASSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
