THE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ACT (PROP 63)
COMMUNITY SERVICES & SUPPORTS, PROGRAM & EXPENDITURE PLAN
WHEREAS, in November of 2004, the voters approved Proposition 63, the Mental Health
Services Act, that provides far new mental health service programs in communities; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behaviora! Health (BCDBH) requires Butte
County Board of Supervisors' authorization to submit our County Plan that will comply with the
provisions of the Mental Health Services Act, in order to receive funding pursuant to the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte hereby, approves the county plan, completed pursuant to §9515, Title 9,
California Code of Regulations, by Butte County Department of Behavioral Health.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14t~' day of
February 2006, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors CanneJ.ly', Da1an, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
