HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-047WHEREAS, funds totaling l.5 million dollars have been established pursuant to Public Resources Code
Section 43230, and are available from the Integrated Waste Management Account for grants to Local
Enforcement Agencies to support solid waste facilities permit and inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Supervisors of Butte County authorizes the submittal
of an application to the California Integrated Waste Management Board for a Local Enforcement Agency
Grant for a Locai Enforcement Agency Grant EA 17 FY 200612007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Environmental Health of the Butte County Public
Health Department, or his/her designee is hereby authorized and empowered to execute in the name of Butte
County all necessary applications, contracts, agreements, payment requests and amendments for the purposes
of securing grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes specified in the grant application.
The foregoing resolution was passed by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 2$`'` day of March, 2006.
