WHEREAS, the County of Butte receives program income from various state of California community
Development Block Grants; and
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant regulations allow program income to be disbursed
into open CDBG grants to utilize program income; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte was awarded CDBG Grant #04-PTAA-0303 on April 1, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has program income on hand. to be expended toward CDBG eligible
activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors does hereby
approve the amendment of CDBG Grant #04-PTAA-0303 as follows:
Section 1.
The Board of supervisors does hereby approve the allocation of up to $90,933 of Program Income to
provide public infrastructure to serve low income housing in the Chapman Mulberry area of Chico.
Section 2.
The Board of Supervisors does hereby approve the allocation of up to $99,067 to provide facility
management funds to the Private Industry Council for management of the Southside Oroville Community
Center.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors on the 25`~ day of April 2006 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair ~Tosiassen
NOES: Nane
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None.
