A RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO CDBG GRANTS NO: 04-EDBG1027 AND
05-PTAA-1432 TO INCLUDE THE ALLOCATION OF CDBG PROGRAM INCOME FOR
ADDITIONAL CDBG ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, the County of Butte receives program income from various state of California Community
Development Block Grants; and
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) regulations allow program income to be
disbursed into open CDBG grants to utilize program income; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte was awarded CDBG Grants #04-EDBG-1027 on July 19, 2005 and OS-
PTAA 1432 on December 30, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has program income on hand to be expended toward CDBG eligible
activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors does hereby
approve the amendment of CDBG Grants #04-EDBG-1027 and OS-PTAA 1432 as follows:
Section 1.
The Board of Supervisors does hereby approve the allocation of up to $75,000 of Program Income to
assist businesses of 5 or fewer employees located in the unincorporated area that are participating in the
County's business incubator program; and
Section 2.
The Board of Supervisors does hereby approve the allocation of up to $75,000 to enhance the marketing
efforts for the County's business services web portal.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on the 27`~ day of June 2006 by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Houx
NOT VOTING: None
