WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California has
heretofore approved a Proposed Budget for the County of Butte and held a duly noticed
hearing thereon as required by law for the purpose of developing a Final Budget for the fiscal
year 2006 - 2007; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was concluded on 3une 27, 2006, in the Board of
Supervisors Room in the Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Officer has submitted a written compilation of
the modifications to the Proposed Budget tentatively approved by the Boazd of Supervisors
during the hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, that the Proposed Budget, as modified by the
amendments set forth in Schedule A is hereby adopted as the Final Budget for the County of
Butte for fiscal year 2006 - 2007;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor-Controller is hereby authorized to
adjust Interfund and Intrafixnd account appropriations and estimates to reflect the effect of the
aforementioned amendments and modifications, subject to review and approval by the Chief
Administrative Officer;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor-Controller is hereby authorized to
adjust the Appropriations for Contingencies in each fund as necessary to balance the fund and
the budget, and, if necessary to balance any fund, and reduce said fixnd's general reserve,
subject to review and approval by the Chief Administrative Officer;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor-Controller is hereby requested to
report all adjustments to appropriations and reserves needed to balance any fund to the Board
of Supervisors no later than September 26, 2006;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the actual General Fund beginning fund
balance available exceeds the estimate, then up to the first $300,000 shall be appropriated in
F10-020001-541 {Administration -Special Departmental Expense) for multi-departmental
gang suppression efforts, and any excess fund balance available greater than $300,000 shall
be added to the General Fund Contingency Budget.

FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of
California, this 25~h day of July 2006, by the following vote:
