HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-118aResolution No. WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the California Constitution provides that local governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article, and; WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and; WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County appropriations limit for fiscal year 2006-2007 to be $124,937,451. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limit for Butte County is established to be $124,937,451 for fiscal year 2006-2007, and; FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are in compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of California, this 8th day of August, 2006.
