OF
Peter V. Teresi
Whereas, this Board expresses its appreciation to Peter Teresi for his 18 years of dedicated service to Butte County.
Whereas, Peter Teres! began his career with Butte County as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in June of 1988 after retiring from a
30-year career with Pan-American Airlines. In July of 1988, Mr. Teresi was hired as an Extra-Help Correctional Officer.
CORRECTIONAL OFFICER Teresi worked successfully in many di€ferent assignments during his career, including Road Crew Officer,
Utility Officer, Transport Officer, Medical Officer, Inmate Visiting Officer and as the Sheriffs Work AI#emative Program Officer.
Correctional Officer Teresi always demonstrated a high work ethic and repeatedly proved his value to the Sheriffs Office and the
citizens of Butte County through his dedication and commitment.
Whereas, after serving the citizens of Butte County far 18 years, Peter Teres! retired on July 3Q, 20Uti.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the
County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unself[sh dedication and devotion given by CORRECTIONAL.
OFFICER Peter Teresi during his career with the Butte County Sheriffs Dffice.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors this 22^d day of August by the following vote:
