RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARY AND BENEFITS RESOLUTIONS
FOR DEPARTMENT HEADS AND NON-REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Board of supervisors is empowered to establish compensation for elected and
appointed department heads, Classified, Management & Confidential, and Non-Represented
employees; and
WHEREAS, the Board of supervisors has previously adopted resolution establishing benefits
for Butte County Department Heads (Resolution No. 06-020) and Non-Represented
Classifications (Resolution No. 06-062); and
WHEREAS it is the policy of the Board of Supervisors that managers of Butte County be
properly reimbursed for expenses incurred while conducting business on behalf of Butte county;
and.
WHEREAS Resolution No. 06-110 implemented a change in per diem reimbursement that
affects Department Heads and Non-Represented Classifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, that Resolutions No. 06-020 and 06-062 shall be amended as follows:
1. Resolution 06-020 shall be amended adding Section 11 (c):
c. Per diem for meal expenses incurred while traveling pursuant to Butte County policy
may be reimbursed, without receipts, up to the following maximums.
Breakfast $10.00
Lunch $15.00
Dinner $25.00
Daily total $50.00/day
2. Resolution 06-062 shall be amended. adding Section 1.13:
1.13 Meal Reimbursement.
Per diem for meal expenses incurred while traveling pursuant to Butte County
policy maybe reimbursed, without receipts, up to the following maximums.
Breakfast $10.00
Lunch $15.00
Dinner $25.00
Daily total $50.00/day
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, at regular meeting of said Board held on the 26th day of September 2006, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
