WHEREAS, Butte County Board of Supervisors approved the establishment of the KIDZ mint
Powers Authority (hereinafter referred to as the "Authority"), by and among Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado,
Humboldt, Imperial, Kern, Madera, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, Placer, San Benito, San Joaquin,
Shasta, Tehama, Ventura, Yolo and Yuba Counties {hereinafter referred to as the "JPA"); and
TERNIINATION OF JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
HIDZ JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, said parties to the JPA now desire to terminate the JPA and dissolve the Authority_
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, as follows:
1. The above-recited facts are true and correct.
2. All the property and surplus funds ownedand/or held by the Authority have been distributed
in accordance with the provisions of sections l l and l2 of the JPA.
3_ This Board does hereby agree to terminate the JPA and thereby dissolve the Authority.
4. Said termination shall be effective at such time as a majority of the members have agreed to
terminate the JI'A.
5. The Director of the Butte County Department of Child Support Services represents Butte
County in such membership.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, of Butte County, State of California,
this 26~' day of September 2006 by the following vote:
AYES: supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Houx, Xamaguchi an$ Chair ,Tosiassen

ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
