HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-152resolution RESOLUTION ACCEPTING OFFER OF DEDICATION OF PORTIONS OF CREST DRIVE AND MOUNTAIN VISTA DRIVE WITHIN THE PALM CREST VILLAGE SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, none of the streets were constructed within the Palm Crest Village Subdivision Map when it was filed for record January S, 1950, in Book 17 of Maps at Pages 30 and 31; and WHEREAS, the County of Butte, at that time, did not accept any offer of dedication far the interior streets; and WHEREAS, the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP} as owners of a majority of the lots within the interior of the of Palm Crest Village Subdivision has constructed a portion of Crest Drive and Mountain Vista Drive to County standards and formed County Service Area #181 for maintenance of the subdivision drainage systems and street lighting ;and WHEREAS, the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP} as owners of a majority of the lots within the interior of the of Palm Crest Village Subdivision has requested the County accept those portions of Crest Drive and Mountain Vista Drive fronting lots 66 through 80, 99 through 104 and 123 through 127 a shown on that Record of Survey recorded July $, 1992 in Book 127 of Maps at Pages 19 through 21, be accepted as dedicated for County maintenance; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte now desires to accept those portions of Crest Drive and Mountain Vista Drive fronting lots 66 through 80, 99 through 104 and 123 through 127 a shown on that Record of Survey recorded July S, 1992 in Book 127 of Maps at Pages 19 through 21; Page 1 of 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board of Supervisors does hereby accept the offer of dedication as public roads within Palm Crest Village Subdivision Map as filed for record January 5, 1950, in Book 17 of Maps at Pages 30 and 31, those portions of Crest Drive and Mountain Vista Drive fronting lots 66 through 80, 99 through 104 and 123 thraugh 127 a shown on that Record of Survey recorded July 8, 1992 in Book 127 of Maps at Pages 19 through 21; and BE YT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte State of California.
