RESOLUTION IN HONOR OF LISA KLING UPON HER RETIREMENT
FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE
WHEREAS, Lisa Kling has announced her retirement as the Executive Assistant to the
Chief Administrative Off cer as of December 29, 200b;
WHEREAS, Lisa began her cazeer with Butte County as a Typist Clerk II in Risk
Management on October 24, 19$8, promoted to Typist Clerk IIT in July 1990 and to Principal
Clerk in August 1992. On October S, 1994, Lisa was promoted to Executive Assistant to the
Chief Administrative Officer, a position she held until her retirement; and
WHEREAS, Lisa displayed great team spirit, has always taken on extra responsibility
whenever needed to assure a properly functioning, harmonious and well-nurtured workplace, and
has consistently conducted the business of the Chief Administrative Office and the Baazd of
Supervisors with great competence and skill; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Kling has served the residents of Butte County for over 18 years with
unselfish dedication and professionalism, gaining her the respect of her fellow workers, past and
present Supervisors and Chief Administrative Officers, and the public.
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf, and an
behalf of the residents of Butte County expresses its sincere appreciation to Lisa Kling for her
many years of outstanding service and, further, wishes her well upon her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Baazd of Supervisors this 12th day of
December 2006 by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dalan, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: Nane
