BUTTE TO ENTER INTO .IOINT POWERS AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING
THE BIGGS-GRIDLEY HOSPITAL AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors took action at its July 25, 2006 and August
8, 2006 meetings to place special property tax measures on the November 7, 2006 ballot
for voters in CSA 37 to fund hospital emergency stand-by costs; and
WHEREAS, the special property tax measures passed with a vote in excess of the
supermajority required by the electorate within the jurisdiction of each party to the
accompanying Joint Powers Agreement Establishing the Biggs-Gridley Hospital Agency;
and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to entry into the Joint Powers Agreement
Establishing the Biggs-Gridley Hospital Agency; have been met
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California to enter into the accompanying Joint Powers
Agreement Establishing the Biggs_Gridley Hospital Agency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, on the 12th day of December , 2006, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Yamaguchi and Chair ,Tosiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: none
