RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE TO THE
BUTTE COUNTY ABANDONED VEHICLE ABATEMENT SERVICE AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 02-143 on August 27, 2002,
establishing the Butte County Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Service Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Service Authority Bylaws between
Butte County and its cities and Town requires that the County member be appointed by its Board
of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the initial term for the County member expired on September 25, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Deputy Administrative Officer in
the County Administrative Office assigned to the land use functional area will serve as the
County member on the Service Authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to
appoint an alternate representative to the Butte County Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Service
Authority.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 23~a day of
January 2007 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Dolan
