RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL
PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES, AGREEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS AND PERMITS TO ENTER AND CONSTRUCT
IMPROVEMENTS FOR OWNERS BENEFIT FOR THE SKYWAY CA 17I
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
PROJECT CA PFH 171-1(1)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project
agreement with the Federa] Highway Administration, USDA Forest Service and Butte County
Association of Governments to participate in the construction of Skyway; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of
waay and easements necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all right of way and easement
acquisition and deliver a right of way certif cation to the Federal Highway Administration by
1.7eeember 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, State of California, in order to expedite the delivery of the right of way certification to the
Federa] Highway Administration, authorizes the Director of Public Worl<s to negotiate and sign
Agreements for Acquisition of Real Property for Raad Purposes, Agreements for Temporary
Construction Easements an Permits to Enter and Conshuct Improvements for Owner's Benefit for
the Skyway CA 171 Reconstruction Project; Project No. CA PFH 171-1(1}.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 13`h Day of February, 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Joszassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
