RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3938 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 8 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte
entitled "020-001 ADMINISTRATIVE" by adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
Administrative Assistant (position end date 09-07-07)
thereby increasing the total to 14.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 28 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte entitled
"360-008 SHERIFF-CORONER-SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT UNIT" by adding thereto
the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Deputy Sheriff (position end date 06-30-07)
1 Sheriff's Sergeant (position end date 06-30-07)
thereby increasing the total to 7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte entitled
"320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by deleting therefrom the following:

4 Legal Secretary or Legal Clerk
and adding thereto the following:

4 Legal Secretary
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 82.5.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 21 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte entitled
"320-003 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CHILD ABDUCTION" by deleting therefrom the
following:

1 Legal Secretary or Legal Clerk
and adding thereto the following:

1 Legal Secretary
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte hereby amends Section 68K of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte
entitled "NON-REPRESENTED CLASSIFICATION" by changing the salary range of
the Assistant Director, Public Health as follows:

Note: This change is effective January 1, 2007.
