NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE LOMA RICA ROAD OVER SOUTH HONCUT CREEK BRIDGE
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into Joint Powers
Agreement, Butte County Contract No. X10702, between Butte County and Yuba County to
participate in the construction of the Loma Rica Road over South Honcut Creek Bridge; and
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of
way and easements necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must acquire all right of way in a timely manner, to allow Yuba
County to construct the bridge as setforth in the Joint Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
State of California, in order to expedite the delivery of the right of way certification by Yuba County to
Caltrans, authorizes the Director of Public Works to negotiate and sign Agreements for Purchase of
Property for road purposes for the Loma Rica Road over South Honcut Creek Bridge construction
Project; Project No. 05572-95-1.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 13"' Day of March, 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
