RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
TO CERTIFY THE ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD
PURPOSES, AGREEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS,
AND PERMITS TO ENTER AND CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS FOR OWNERS'
BENEFIT FOR THE AGUAS FRIAS ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT ACROSS
BUTTE CREEK, STATE BRIDGE NO. 12C-0233 & 0234,
FEDERAL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT STPLF-5912(014)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project
agreement with Caltrans and the Federal Highway Administration to participate in the Highway
Bridge Program (HBP) for the reconstruction of the Aguas Frias Road Bridge across Butte
Creek; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of
way and easements necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has completed all right of way and easement
acquisitions necessary to deliver right of way certification to Caltrans.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, State of California, in order to complete the delivery of the right of way certification to
Caltrans, authorizes the Director of Public Worlcs to certify the Acquisition of Real Property for
Road Purposes, Agreement for Temporary Construction Easements, and Permit to Enter and
Construct Improvements for Owners' Benefit for the Aguas Frias Road Bridge across Butte
Creek, State Bridge No. 12C-0234 & 0234, Federal Bridge Replacement Project STPLF-
5912(014).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of
California, this 27th day of March 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Dolan
