HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-060RESOLUTION AMENDING THE DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES BUILDING DIVISION FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 03-170 in December 2003, adopting the Development Services Department Building Division Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted an Ordinance Amending Chapter 3 (Fees) of the Butte County Code on February 13,2007, allowing for the periodic application of a cost escalator on the Building Division Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, the cost escalator is based upon the Employment Cost Index for State and Local Government (ECI); and WHEREAS, the ECI at the time the current Building Division Fee Schedule was adopted, the 1St Quarter of 2004, was 93.5 and the latest ECI, the 4th Quarter of 2006, is 104.1; and WHEREAS, the maximum allowable increase to fees at this time, based upon changes in the ECI, is 11.34%; and WHERAS, the Board has chosen to limit the increase to fees contained in the Building Division Fee Schedule to 6.34%; and WHEREAS, the Building Division Fee Schedule has been revised to add certain services that were not identified specifically in the original Building Division Fee Schedule or to correct fees based on current processes and practices. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, as the conducting authority, does hereby resolve, direct and order that the attached Exhibit A, amending the Department of Development Services Building Division Fee Schedule, become the fee schedule effective sixty (60) days from adoption.
