ANTI-DRUG ABUSE ENFORCEMENT AUTHORIZATION RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to continue participation in the Federal
Edward Byrne Memorial Block Grant Program, administered by the Governor's Office of Emergency
Services (OES).
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer of Butte County is authorized to
sign on behalf of the Board of Supervisors the Federal Edward Byrne Memorial Block Grant Program
Agreement with OES, including any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County agrees to abide by the statutes governing the Federal
Edward Byrne Memorial Block Grant Program as well as the terms and conditions of the Agreement as
set forth by OES.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24th day of
April 2007 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connell;T, Kirk, Josiassen, Yariat;uchi, and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
