A RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO CDBG GRANT NO: OS-STBG-1621 TO INCLUDE
THE ALLOCATION OF CDBG PROGRAM INCOME FOR CDBG ELIGIBLE
ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, the County of Butte receives program income from various state of California
Community Development Block Grants; and
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) regulations allow program income
to be disbursed into open CDBG grants to utilize program income; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte was awarded CDBG Grant #05-STBG-1621 on June 14, 2006
which included improvements, in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), to
be performed at the Veteran's Halls in the City Chico, Oroville, Gridley and the Town of
Paradise; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has program income on hand to be expended toward CDBG
eligible activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors does
hereby approve the amendment of CDBG Grant #OS-STBG-1621 as follows:
Section 1.
The Board of Supervisors does hereby approve the allocation of up to $100,000 of Program
Income to assist in the ADA compliant improvements to the Veteran's Hall in the Town of
Paradise; and
Section 2.
The Board of Supervisors does hereby approve the allocation of up to $80,000 of Program
Income to assist in the ADA compliant improvements to the Veteran's Hall in the City of
Gridley.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors on the 24 `h day of April 2007 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Josiassen,
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
