RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3938 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 32 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte entitled
"430-001 PROBATION" by deleting therefrom the following:
Position Classification Title
1 Supervisor Probation Officer (position to end 06-30-07)
3 Probation Officer III, II, I (positions to end 06-30-07)
2 Probation Technician (position to end 06-30-07)
1 Accountant (position to end 06-30-07)
and adding thereto the following:
Position Classification Title
1 Supervisor Probation Officer (position to end 06-30-08)
3 Probation Officer III, II, I (positions to end 06-30-08)
2 Probation Technician (position to end 06-30-08)
1 Accountant (position to end 06-30-08)
leaving the total unchanged at 102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 30 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte entitled
"361 SHERIFF-CORONER-DESENT DECREE" by deleting therefrom the following:

1 Pre-Trial Release Specialist
and adding thereto the following:
Position Classification Title
1 Pre-Trial Release, Supervisor

leaving the total unchanged at 1.
Note: This change is effective March 3, 2007
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte hereby amends Section 62 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte
entitled "720 GENERAL SERVICES-FACILITIES" by deleting therefrom the
following:
Position Classification Title
1 Child Support Specialist
thereby changing the total from 43 to 42.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte hereby amends Section 50 of Ordinance No. 3938 of the County of Butte
entitled "550-001 CHILD SUPPORT SERVICES" by deleting therefrom the
following:
Position Classification Title
1 Legal Secretary
and adding thereto the following:
Position Classification Title
1 Child Support Specialist
leaving the total unchanged at 117.
