HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-134~~~ Q~ ~~, ~,~ BOARD tJF' SUPERVISOR w* *~ COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE ©F CALIFORNIA 07-134 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC SERVICE HOURS FOR BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2.1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, specify those hours during which individual departments will be open to the public; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has increased the County General Fund allocation to the Butte County Library for the purpose of expanding hours of operation in order to better serve community needs; and WHEREAS, the Library will be hiring additional staff to support a 25% increase to its public service hours; and WHEREAS, the City of Chico contributes funding for staff to extend library hours at the Chico Branch by 25 hours per week beyond the 42 hours per week funded by the County NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the Library will be open to the public effective October 6, 2007 as follows: Bi~~s BranchBranch Gridley Branch Monday 1 - 5 pm Monday 10 am - 5 pm Wednesday 1 - 5 pm Tuesday 10 am - 5 pm Friday 1 - 5 pm Wednesday noon - 7 pm Thursday 10 am - 5 pm Chico Branch Friday 10 am - 5 pm Monday 9 am - 8 pm Tuesday 9 am - 8 pm Oroville Branch Wednesday 9 am - 8 pm Monday 10 am - 5 pm Thursday 9 am - 8 pm Tuesday noon - 7 pm Friday 9 am - 6 pm Wednesday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 9 am - 6 pm Thursday noon - 7 pm Sunday noon - 5 pm Friday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10 am - 5 pm Durham Branch Tuesday noon - 7 pm Paradise Branch Thursday 110on - 7 plll Monday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10 am - 5 pm Tuesday noon - 7 pm Wednesday 10 am - 5 pm Thursday noon - 7 pm Friday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10 am - 5 pm Resolution No. 98-176, adopted December 15, 1998, is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
