RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL
REPRESENTATIVE FOR BUTTE COUNTY IN NOMINATING AND SUBMITTING
APPLICATIONS FOR STATE AND FEDERAL SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL
(SRTS) AND (SRTS) GRANT PROJECTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to execute and
submit on behalf of the County of Butte applications nominating public works pedestrian facility
improvement projects and programs, as determined by the Director of Public Works, for State
and federal Safe Routes to Schools (SR2S) and (SRTS) grant funding.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 9th day of October , 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Josiassen, Yamaguchi, and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
