COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 58 ordinance No. 3968 of the County of Butte entitled
"SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS, REFERENCE A,
APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" by adding thereto the following:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors ofthe County of
Butte hereby amends Section 57f ordinance No. 3968 of the County of Butte entitled
"MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL AND SUPERVISORY UNIT" by adding thereto
the following:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 58 ordinance No. 3968 of the County of Butte entitled
"SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS, REFF,RENCF', A,
APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" by amending the language to read:
"Effective the first pay period in July of each year, appointed department head salaries
maybe adjusted within the minimum and maximum salary range for the position based on
performance measures established by the Board of Supervisors as certified by the Chief
Administrative Officer. Additionally, as set forth in the "Benefits of Butte County
Department Heads" resolution, in May of each year the Consumer Price Index (CPI) as
computed for western cities by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, shall be
established and salaries adjusted in the first pay period in July."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby amends Section 37 ordinance No. 3968 of the County of Butte entitled
"541-011 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" by adding thereto the
following:
