RESOLUTION RECUAL NAT ONAL ADOPT ON MONTH 2007
AS THE ANN
WHEREAS, National Adoption Month is a nationwide effort to increase public
awareness about the importance of adoption of children from the foster care system.
WHEREAS, there are many Butte County e milanentasgtable and nurtur ng adoptive and
living in Butte County who are in need of p
homes,
WHEREAS, the California Department of Social Services, working closely with the Butte
County Superior Court, and Butte County Children and Family Services places
hundreds of children every year with adoptive families
WHEREAS, these families devote boundless time, energy and love raising t ortunit to
children, thereby allowing our youngest and most vulnerable citizens the opp Y
reach their greatest potential.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE bOL20 D as National Adoptio pMonths hereby
recognizes the month of Novem
