A RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF THE PER CAPITA GRANT PROGRAM
ALLOCATION UNDER THE CALIFORNIA CLEAN WATER, CLEAN AIR, SAFE
NEIGHBORHOOD PARKSOF OROVILLE IN THE AMOUNT OF $88,8540F
2002 FROM THE CITY
WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the CALIFO AND
CLEAN WATER, CLEAN AIR, SAFE NIEGHBORHOOD PARKS,
COASTAL PROTECTION BOND ACT OF 2002 which provides funds for the Per
Capita Grant Program for grants to eligible Applicants; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Parks and Recreation has been
delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program within the State,
setting up necessary procedures; and
WHEREAS, said procedures established by the California Department ofo aarof
and Recreation require the grantee to certify by resolution the app
application(s) before submission of said application(s) to the State; and
WHEREAS, the Grantee will enter into a Contract with the State of California for
the Project; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R SSOe traDnsfea of the Perd CapSapGralnt Prograhm
County of Butte hereby accep
allocation in the amount of $88,854 from the City of Oroville; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby:
Approves the filing of an Application for local assistance funds from the
Per Capita Grant Program under the California Clean Water, Clean Air,
Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002.
2. Certifies that the Applicant has or will have sufficient funds to operate and
maintain the project(s).
3. Certifies that the Applicant has re~,iiewed, understands and agrees to the
'General Provisions conta~k~aed in the Contract shown in the Procedural
lauiCle.
4. Certifies that the Project conforms to the recreation element of any
application city or count,' genE'~al plan
5. Appoints the Chief Administrative Officer as agent to conduct all
negotiations, execute and submit a!I documents including, but not limited
Isc,ations, agreements, payrnEnt request and so on, which may be
to, App ~ '
