RESOLUTION AUT1-[ORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF
3514 EC [~: KS LANE, CHICO,
WHEREAS, the Board of Supc;rvisors acquired 3514 Hicks Lane, Chico, California in
2002 as part of a plan to implement the Chico Urban Area Fire and Rescue Agreement; and
WHEREAS, in the intervening years the initial plan has proven infeasible; and
WHEREAS, the City of Chico and the County of Butte agree that it is consistent with
the intent of the Chico Urban Area Fire ::nu E~escue Agreement, and in the public interest, for the
County to sell this land to the City of Cl~,cc;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of :supervisors of the County of Butte does hereby resolve,
declare and rind the following:
1. The foregoing recitals are adopted as a part of this resolution.
2. Pursuant to prior agreement with the City of Chico the Board of Supervisors finds that
this conveyance is in the public int~rest.
3. The Chair of the Board of Supe . ,ors is authorized to sign the attached Agreement for
the Sale of Real Property.
4. i he General Services Director i:. a~:~.}~~orized to sign all other documents necessary to
implement the Agreement signed ':,y the Chair.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 8`h day of January,
2008 by the tollowing vote:
