RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN
CONTRACT BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH
AN D
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FOR
FY 04105-07108
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires Butte
County Board of Supervisors' authorization to enter into an agreement with the State Department
of Mental Health to receive funding provided through the Prop 63 Mental Health Services Act; and
WHEREAS, the total revenue to be received is $5,354,512 thru June 30, 2008. Currently
Behavioral Health has $3,779,075 budgeted and the additional $1,575,437 will be addressed
upon approval of the MHSA County Plans, which have been submitted to the State; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement shall be July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
authorizes BCDBH to continue their Prop 63 mental health programs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 29th day of
January 2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly,Dolan, Yamaguchi, Kirk, and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
