RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTF,
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL
REPRESENTATIVE FOR BUTTE COUNTY IN NOMINATING AND SUBMITTING
HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (HSIP) GRANT PROJECTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to execute and
submit on behalf of the County of Butte applications nominating public works roadway
improvement projects, as determined by the Director of Public Works, for Highway Safety
Improvement Program (HSIP) grant funding available wider apportionments received and
programmed by the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Fiscal year
2007/2008 and 2008/2009,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, Statc of
California, this 26th day of February , 2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connell, Dolan, Yamaguchi, Kirk, and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
