RF,SOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL 'I'O AYYLY FOR YOUTHFUL OFFENDER
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to receive and utilize grant funds available
through the Youthtiil Offender Block Grant Program administered by the California Department of~
Corrections and Rehabilitation, Corrections Standards Authority, Division of Juvenile Justice.
NOW, THERF.FORF, BE IT RESOLVEll that the Chief Probation Officer is authorized. on behalfof
the Butte County Board of Supervisors to submit and/or sign the County"s Youthful Offender Block
Grant application and related co~ltracts. amendments, or extensions with the State of California. that
forms the County's .Iuvenile .lustice Development Plan: and,
Assures that the County of Butte's .Iuvenile .lustice Development Plan has been developed, reviewed, and
provided to the Corrections Standards Authority in a format determined by the Corrections Standards
Authority; and..
Assures that the County ol~ Butte will adhere to the requirements of Welfare and [nstitutions Code
Sections 1950 through 1962 regarding the use of Youthful Ottender Block Grant funds and the specified
uses detailed with the submission of the County's Juvenile Justice Development Plan.
