A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND CONTRACT EXECUTION
FOR FUNDING FROM THE GENERAL/NATIVE AMERICAN ALLOCATION OF
THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVF,LOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
AND AUTHORI7.ING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMEN'C AND ANY
AMENDMF,NTS THF,RE'i'O WITH THF. STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE
PURPOSES OF THIS GRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1: The Butte County Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an
application for up to $1.1 million for the following activities:

I rterac~~ PYO~ram: .~462,SOD
10% set-aside for Code E~tforce~r~etrt: $100,000
Ge~zeral Adryainistrcation: $75, 000
SECTION 2: If the grant application is approved, the County of Butte will provide the following Local
leverage:
Butte County Housin,~ Rehabilitation
Staf_f'time (Adjnis~iistration): $10,000
Literacy Program
Staff dyne (Lihrc~rres): 530, 000
SECTION 3: The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the
County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.

SECTION 4: If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorised to enter
into and sign the grant agreement and any amendments thereto with the State of California for the
purposes of this grant.
