RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION AND ACCEPTANCE OF 4007
KEEFER ROAD, CHICO, CALIFORNIA FROM THE OJI REVOCABLE TRUST OF
2003 TO THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, on November 6, 2007, the Board of Supervisors approved and
authorized Property Manager to negotiate the acquisition of 4007 Keefer Road, Chico,
California;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte:
1. Approve the purchase price of $330,000 and direct the Auditor-Controller to utilize the
appropriation to fund the purchase of the Keefer Road property from the North Chico
Fire Stations Consolidation Capital Project.
2. Authorize the Property Manager to prepare and execute all necessary documents and
authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to execute the Certificate of Acceptance to
effect the acquisition and accept the transfer of title to APN 047-600-005, commonly
known as 4007 Keefer Road, Chico, California to the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 8t" day of April
2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk, Dolan, Yamaguchi, and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VO'T'ING: None
